Subscriptions
This site is for Agile/Scrum and Agile/Kanban professionals. We gather to share our challenges and solve problems. Why would you need this?
Because most Scrum/Kanban leaders work by themselves: there might be only 1 Scrum Master and 1 Product Owner per team, sometimes per division, or in the entire company. Those pros may not have the benefit of others in that role to whom they can turn for help with things aren't going well.
Even if they have co-workers in the same role, sometimes it’s not a good idea to share too much. Instead, having a neutral third party can really help clear things up. We create a safe space for those discussions.
Most of the folks here come from my Scrum/Kanban certification classes through www.RemoteScrumStudy.com, but anyone who currently works in any of the following software development roles is eligible to join the conversation.
Scrum Master (any experience level).
Scrum Product Owner working in an Agile environment.
Scrum/Kanban software developers working in an Agile environment.
Engineering Managers who are trying to get their teams functioning well in an Agile environment.
Project Managers (any experience level) who work with Agile pros and are trying to understand what makes us tick.
Free Content Subscriptions
This site is where the Agile/Scrum and Agile/Kanban software methodologies get an extra boost by providing real-world answers to situational questions. Agile is great if it’s done correctly, but if it’s not centered on empowering people, then it’s just another bean-counting methodology.
Some of Practical Scrum content is free and open to the public, including:
Short topic blog posts.
Notes (with short posts and videos).
Bi-weekly Newsletter that summarizes recent content.
If you’re an Agile professional, you’ll certainly benefit from the free content. But you really should consider a paid monthly subscription where we have a two-way conversation that gets you help with your specific situation.
